Everyone Hates AI is a JustGurian LLC brand. Our journals are for writing on paper. This website does not ask you to upload journal entries. Keeping your writing offline is your choice; it is not a promise that physical pages can never be read, photographed or shared.
Visiting this website
Our hosting provider, Railway, processes web requests to deliver the site and maintain its service. These requests can include technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Read Railway’s privacy information.
We record a small set of website interactions to understand what is useful: journal-page views, format and gift choices, product-image selections, clicks to the shop and openings of the email signup page. These records use a product identifier, a broad page category, a time and a limited source category such as Instagram or email. They do not include your name, email address, journal content, full browsing history or a persistent visitor identifier. We do not set analytics cookies or use an advertising pixel in this implementation.
Our measurement code respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by not sending these interaction events when either is enabled. Hosting request logs are separate from these events. Activity records are held in hosting logs and are subject to the hosting service’s retention limits; we may export aggregate counts for business reports. A click to Printify is not recorded as a purchase.
Your free page and personal gift link
The animated gift finder saves your guide name, page preference, motion setting, chosen calendar time and optional completion months in this browser’s local storage. These preferences do not sync across devices. Clear this site’s browser data to remove them. We do not read your handwritten page or verify whether it was printed or completed, and we never share completion marks with a gift giver.
A personal gift link includes the names and note you enter in its URL fragment. Anyone who receives the complete link can read them. The fragment is not sent in normal requests to our web server, but it may remain in your browser history, messages or other services you choose to share it with. We do not store the gift names or note in local storage or send a message automatically. Avoid including private details. This free link does not represent a paid subscription.
Calendar reminders are files you download and choose to import yourself. We do not collect a calendar email address or access your calendar. The recurring event links to the same free printable page. Edit or delete it through your calendar app. New monthly editions and automatic delivery are not available yet.
The optional Offline Letter
When email signup is available, the signup button takes you to a Brevo form. Your email address is provided to Brevo for the Everyone Hates AI mailing list. You confirm your subscription through an email before receiving the letter. We use this list for the weekly Offline Letter, new-cover news and occasional release announcements. We do not require a subscription to access our free prompts or PDFs.
Use the unsubscribe link in a letter to stop receiving it. We do not collect your email address in the website’s interaction logs. Brevo processes subscriptions and email delivery under its own privacy policy. Any email delivery or engagement reporting is separate from the website measurements described above.
Personal covers and dedications
The Cover Studio and gift-note editor process your artwork, names and messages in your browser. Our website does not upload those files or include their contents in interaction logs. If you choose to carry a gift dedication into the Cover Studio, we temporarily store that note in this tab’s session storage, read it once on the next page, then remove it. Transfers expire after ten minutes and session storage ends when the tab closes. Downloaded print files remain on your device until you remove them.
To order a personalized journal, you upload your prepared cover and dedication files to Printify’s Personalization Hub. That sends those files to Printify, where its service terms and data practices apply; they are separate from this website’s local editor. Review the Personalization Hub terms shown before continuing, and the shop policies linked below. Keep journal entries and other private writing off your cover and dedication uploads.
Buying a journal
Our purchase links take you to the Everyone Hates AI shop hosted by Printify. Address, payment, shipping and order details are collected there. Visit the shop’s privacy policy and terms and return conditions for that service. We may use confirmed order financial totals to calculate sales and costs. Website clicks alone do not establish an order or profit.
